Successful Day

I just put on my pajamas after finally getting home from work about 20 minutes ago. Our quarter ends on January 23rd and I'd like to have everything planned, created, copied, and ready to go by the end of this week. This will help particularly when I have to take off for the egg retrieval and then the implantation. I'd say I'm about 65 - 70% there!

I would have been home a lot earlier if 1. I had an ice scraper, and 2. If I noticed that I had my car on heat (feet only) instead of defrost when I got in the car (which I had already automatically started 5 minutes earlier), rather than 15 minutes into waiting for my windshield to melt. I even tried to scrape some ice with my fingers... (without much luck!) Because I didn't notice that I didn't have the defrost on, I sat in my car, talking on the phone for about 20 minutes before I could see out of my windshield. I guess I'm a little absent minded these days! Oh well! I am home now... James almost has dinner ready. Both my stomach and I are so thankful that he is so wonderful!

I plan on being at my appointment tomorrow morning at 6:45 a.m. which means I have to leave here by 6. I am going to eat a bit, inject my p.m. meds and hit the sheets. I am anxious to hear about my follicles in the morning and then my estrogen level when I get a call tomorrow afternoon. I have been really concentrating on having positive thoughts, at the same time, preparing a plan of action shoud anything negative occur. This has seemed to help me get through the days feeling my hopeful and optimistic. I truly feel we will have children some day... and of course, hope and pray that that day is in about 10 months! Keep the prayers and positive thoughts coming! You have no idea how much they mean to me!!!

Until next time...

P.S. While the blog says it's 5:34 p.m. It is just now 9 p.m. I don't know why the time is off... oh well!
